When tax season arrives, your W-2 is the one document you can’t file without — and most UPS employees can pull it straight from the UPSers portal at upsers.com. This guide explains when your UPS W-2 is ready, how to download it online, the difference between electronic and mailed copies, and what to do if you’ve left the company.

When is the UPS W-2 available?

By law, employers must make W-2 forms available to employees by January 31 each year. UPS typically posts the electronic W-2 in the UPSers portal in late January, and mails paper copies (for employees who didn’t go paperless) around the same time. If you consented to electronic delivery, watch the portal in the last week of January rather than your mailbox.

How to get your W-2 from UPSers

Go to www.upsers.com and log in with your Employee ID and password. Locked out? Use our UPSers login & password guide.
Open the Pay & Benefits (or “Payroll / My Life and Career”) area of your dashboard.
Look for “View W-2/W-2C” or “Tax Documents.”
Select the tax year you need.
Download the W-2 as a PDF or print it for filing. Save a copy for your records.

Several prior years of W-2s are usually available online, so you can grab older statements for amended returns or loan paperwork too.

Electronic vs. paper W-2

Paperless (electronic) consent: if you opted in, your W-2 is delivered only online through the portal — nothing is mailed.
Paper copy: if you did not consent to electronic delivery, UPS mails a printed W-2 to the address on file.
Keep your address current. Update your mailing address in the portal before year-end so a paper W-2 isn’t sent to an old address.

Getting your UPS W-2 as a former employee

If you’ve left UPS, you can often still sign in to UPSers with your former Employee ID and password for a period after your last day — log in and download your W-2 right away if you can. UPS also processes payroll through providers such as Dayforce, which seasonal and former employees may use to retrieve tax forms. If your portal access has ended, contact the UPS HR / Employee Service Center to request a copy or a reissued W-2.

W-2 missing, late, or wrong?

Not showing yet: wait until the end of January — forms post on UPS’s schedule, not all at once.
Never received a paper copy: check whether you’re set to paperless (then it’s online only), and confirm your mailing address.
Wrong name, SSN, or amounts: contact UPS HR/payroll to request a corrected W-2C. Don’t file with an incorrect form.
Can’t log in at all: reset your credentials, then return to the Tax Documents section.

Cross-check your W-2 against your last pay stub

Your final year-to-date (YTD) totals on December’s UPSers pay stub should line up closely with the wages and withholding on your W-2. If something looks far off, flag it with payroll before you file.
