What is UPS My Choice?
UPS My Choice is a free delivery-management membership for recipients. Once you sign up with your address, you can see what’s coming, get notified before it arrives, and adjust how and when packages are delivered — all from the UPS website or app. It’s different from simply tracking a package: My Choice lets you actively manage your incoming deliveries.
Free My Choice features
- Delivery alerts by email, text and app notification.
- Estimated delivery windows and a calendar view of incoming packages.
- Delivery instructions — tell the driver where to leave it.
- Reschedule or redirect a delivery to another day or address, or to a UPS Access Point (some changes may carry a fee).
- Vacation hold — pause deliveries while you’re away.
- Sign for packages electronically or leave authorized release notes.
On delivery day, eligible packages also show the Follow My Delivery live map.
UPS My Choice Premium
Premium is a paid upgrade — around $19.99 per year for a residential address (business addresses cost more, roughly $40/year). It’s aimed at people who get a lot of packages and want maximum flexibility:
- Unlimited delivery changes and reschedules at no extra charge.
- Confirmed 2-hour delivery windows (Premium includes a number of requests; extra ones may carry a fee).
- Unlimited free deliveries to UPS Access Points.
- Free SurePost upgrades to UPS Ground, which can save a few dollars per package.
- Authorized package release without a signature.

Go to ups.com (or the UPS app), choose UPS My Choice, and enroll with your name and address. UPS verifies your address to make sure deliveries belong to you, and the free plan is active right away. You can upgrade to Premium any time.
