First-time UPSers access uses your UPS employee number and a one-time PIN. Read UPS’s new-user instructions before starting; they include the official PIN tool and the steps for setting your password.
This is an independent guide, not a UPS website. We do not collect Employee IDs, PINs, passwords or personal details. Complete registration through the official UPSers portal.

Who needs to register?
Registration is the initial account setup for a new UPSers user. If you have already completed it, use sign-in or password reset instead. If your account is not recognised, ask your supervisor to check your setup.
What you need before you start
- Your UPS Employee ID number.
- Your one-time registration PIN, using the instructions for your employee category.
- An email address you can access. UPS says the address used for each UPSers login must be unique.
How to register on UPSers — step by step
- Open official New User Registration, select your language as needed and choose Login.
- Enter your employee number followed by @ups.com and choose Next.
- Enter your one-time PIN. It is case-sensitive; UPS says to type letters in lowercase. Choose Sign in.
- UPS’s instructions describe a password-expired message here. Choose Change Password Here to create your password.
- Review and accept the terms of use, then provide the email address and any application information requested by UPS.
- Follow any further account-specific prompts, including multi-factor authentication. Use official MFA instructions if that step prevents access.

How to get or generate your PIN
Use the New User PIN section on the official registration page. It starts with where you work; follow the options and instructions that apply to your account. We do not provide a PIN generator or ask for the identifying details used by UPS.
If the PIN fails, check its lowercase letters and the information used in the official tool. Ask your supervisor or the appropriate UPS support team for help if you cannot complete setup.
Your password and recovery email
UPS lists these password requirements for registration:
- At least 12 characters.
- At least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter and one number.
- At least one allowed special character: ! $ # @ ^ & * , . + = ~.
- A password different from the one-time PIN.
Provide a working, unique email address when asked. The current public registration instructions do not describe security questions as a mandatory step; follow the actual prompts rather than looking for an old screen. Keep access to your registered recovery and MFA methods.
Registration problems? Quick fixes
- Invalid PIN: check the letter case and that you entered the correct employee number at sign-in.
- Already registered: use normal sign-in or reset your password.
- Wrong account offered: if Microsoft shows a personal account, choose to use another account and enter your UPS work-account identifier.
- Account not found: ask your supervisor to confirm setup. There is no verified universal activation deadline in the public instructions.

What is the UPSers PIN?
It is a one-time password used during first-time registration. UPS says its letters must be lowercase. The official registration page includes a New User PIN section for the applicable instructions.
Why do I add “@ups.com” to my Employee ID?
The Microsoft sign-in screen reached from UPSers asks for your employee number followed by @ups.com. The separate employee password-reset form instead asks for the number alone.
Do I have to register every time I log in?
No. Registration is the initial setup. Later sign-ins use your UPS work account and its password or authentication prompts.
My PIN isn’t working. What do I do?
Check lowercase letters and your employee number, then review the official New User PIN instructions. If setup still fails, ask your supervisor or UPS support to check the account.
