UPS is a global company, and the UPSers portal isn’t just for U.S. workers — employees in Canada and many other countries use it too. But payroll, taxes and benefits differ by country, so this guide explains how to log in to UPSers from outside the U.S., what’s different in Canada, and which of our other guides apply only to American employees.
This is an independent guide. Rules, tax forms and benefits vary by country and can change — confirm with your local HR and the official upsers.com. We are not affiliated with UPS.
UPSers is a global portal
UPS operates in more than 200 countries and territories, and the same UPSers portal serves employees across many of them. Whether you’re in the United States, Canada or elsewhere, you generally sign in at the same place — upsers.com — using your User ID / Employee ID and password. Multi-factor authentication may be required for added security.
Logging in from outside the U.S.
- Go to upsers.com and sign in with your Employee ID and password.
- If prompted, select your country or language so you see the right localized information.
- First-time users still need to register; if you’re locked out, use Forgot Password.
UPSers Canada: what’s different
Canadian UPS employees use UPSers for the same everyday tasks — pay, schedule, personal info — but the underlying payroll, tax and benefit systems follow Canadian rules:
- Tax slip: Canada uses the T4 (Statement of Remuneration Paid) instead of the U.S. W-2.
- Retirement: savings are typically through an RRSP (often a group RRSP) rather than a U.S.-style 401(k).
- Health coverage: built on Canada’s provincial health care, usually with employer-provided top-up benefits — not the U.S. TeamCare/COBRA system.
- Language: as a bilingual country, UPS Canada serves employees in English and French; available language options may vary.
Important: which of our guides are U.S.-only
Several of our most popular guides describe the U.S. system specifically. If you work outside the U.S., use your country’s equivalents instead:
- Our W-2 guide is U.S.-only — in Canada you’ll receive a T4.
- The 401(k) guide is U.S.-only — Canadians typically save via an RRSP.
- U.S. health (TeamCare) and COBRA details don’t apply abroad.
The login, registration and password steps, however, work the same way everywhere — see our UPSers.com portal guide.
Other countries
UPSers content is localized for many regions, and your help pages and contact options will reflect your location. If something specific to your country isn’t clear in the portal, your local HR team is the best source — they handle your country’s payroll and benefits directly.
Frequently asked questions
Can Canadian UPS employees use UPSers?
Yes. Canadian employees log in to the same upsers.com with their Employee ID and password, though payroll, tax forms and benefits follow Canadian rules.
Does UPS Canada use a W-2?
No — Canada uses the T4 (Statement of Remuneration Paid) for employment income, not the U.S. W-2.
Is there a 401(k) for UPS Canada employees?
No. The 401(k) is a U.S. plan; Canadian employees typically save for retirement through an RRSP, often a group RRSP offered through work.
Is UPSers the same site worldwide?
Yes — employees in many countries sign in at upsers.com, with localized content and language options. The information shown (taxes, benefits) is tailored to your country.
